Blyton Estate Audit - October 2025
We have recently conducted a neighbourhood audit and have noticed the following:
St Martins Close, Blyton
Issues highlighted
- Household items left on communal footpaths
- Rubbish left around garage block
- Untidy gardens
Action taken
We've taken the below action to respond to these concerns:
- Arranged for clearance of items left in communal areas
- Contacted residents to discuss garden condition.
We need to remind residents that any communal areas, which includes the garage forecourt and pathways to properties, need to remain clear and free from rubbish at all times.
We have contacted all residents where untidy gardens have been highlighted. We are working with our residents to ensure gardens are kept maintained. We are aware that some of our residents are elderly and may need some assistance with managing their gardens. If you are elderly and need assistance with your garden, did you know that Lincolnshire Age UK provide a gardening service with a reliable gardener to allow you to enjoy and maintain your outdoor space. We have provided their details in the 'important links' on this page. They can also be contacted on 01522 696 000
Improvements
We would encourage residents to contact us to share ideas on how we can improve the neighbourhood.
Mark Rise Flats
We would like to thank the residents at Mark Rise Flats, Blyton. We had asked that all communal areas within in the flats remained clear at all times. This was to ensure we remain compliant with fire regulations. We had written to all residents and the communal areas were cleared as requested.

Morton Estate Audit - May 2025
Your Area Service Managers conducted a neighbourhood audit and have noticed the following:
South Street Flats
Issues highlighted
- Conifers growing onto communal areas to the flats
- Overgrown bush at the front of the flats
- Broken chain link wire attached to the gate

Actions taken
- We have spoken to residents about the conifers who have informed us that they have been maintained over the years from the owner occupiers next to the flats. However, the previous owners of the property have now left. We have tried to contact the new owners, but we have had no response. Due to the size of the conifers, Acis will be arranging for our contractors to cut these back and have them maintained in the future.
- We have requested for the chain link wire on the gate to be removed.
- We have removed the overgrown bush at the front of the flats
