Sleaford - Neighbourhood Audit October 2024

We conducted our regular inspective of the area and issues with fly tipping, litter and condition of communal blocks were highlighted.

Tamer Road - Fly tipping was highlighted at the rear of the houses in the car park area. This is a continuous problem and Acis are arranging regular clearances. We need to know who is fly tipping so we can address the matter with them. Can we ask residents with any information on this to contact us.

Tamer Road Flats (38-54) - We are aware that area at the front of the flats was cleared of rubbish by the residents, however we have noticed rubbish is accumulating again. Residents made an real effort to tidy up the area and we were disappointed to see rubbish accumulating again. Can we ask residents to let us know who is leaving rubbish at the front of the flats.

Tamer Road bin area - Rubbish is being left around the bins in the bin area. Any rubbish that is not placed in the bins provided will encourage vermin. Residents need to make sure that all rubbish is placed in the bins and not left on the floor.

Litter on the green area on Tamer Road - Excessive litter was highlighted on the play area. This land is owned by North Kesteven District Council and we have advised them of this issue. Littering the green areas prevents children from using the space. We've requested that a bin is provided from the Local Authority and asked if they can provide any further assistance on the matter.

Greylees 79-87 Montrose Grove Communal block - Poor condition of the block was highlighted. Household items and door mats left in corridors. We have advised all residents on numerous occasions that no items are to be left in communal areas. Acis will remove and dispose of these items. Floors were dirty and have not cleaned for sometime. Residents are responsible for the cleanliness of the block. If residents would a prefer a cleaner, then please contact us to we can conduct a consultation with residents, however this would incur a service charge.

Peake Close bin stores - Household rubbish is being left in the bin stores and not places in the bins for collection. We also noticed that cardboard boxes were left in the rafters. All household rubbish needs to be placed in rubbish bins. If residents do not have sufficient bins, then'll need to contact the Local Authority. If we continue to clear any rubbish left in the bins store, then we'll recharge residents for future clearances.

Snow Close - We received complaints about children damaging the green areas and leaving personal items around the estate. There were also further complaints regarding the behaviour of residents and their children, which included swearing loudly and playing football late into the evening which was disturbing some residents. In response to this, we have sent a letter to the residents at Snow Close reminding them to be respectful on the estate.

Rubbish is also being left in the car park area. No rubbish is to be left in communal areas, which includes parking bays.
