Grounds Maintenance Year Review
As the financial year has come to an end we wanted to share with you the amazing work our grounds maintenance contractors MKS have produced this year and some of the projects they have completed throughout the Lower Manor.
Engagement
The friendly team have been approachable and happy to help on a regular basis receiving many compliments from residents.
From working with residents at Danebrook Gardens helping where needed with the communal garden to giving those on the garden pledge a hand with their gardens the team have got involved and become a part of the Lower Manor community.
Fly Tip Clearance
As you may have noticed, fly tipping is an increasing issue across the UK including this area too. The hard work of the clearance team at MKS has meant the Lower Manor keeps tidy and clear of rubbish and fly tipping ensuring your area remains a clean and nice place to live.
Cutting Season
From grass cutting and hedge strimming to tree pruning and felling the work of our contractors this year have meant standards have not slipped and growth has been kept to a minimum.
The felling of unsafe and damaging trees on Normancroft Way is a prime example of the improvement works MKS have carried out this year and help to ensure our streets remain safe and hazard free.
Big Projects
Just like Acis, MKS are not afraid of a big project and over the past year they have been involved in transforming some areas of the Lower Manor.
The works at Bonsall Lane removing fly tipping and clearing the lane to make it safe and usable have significantly improved this road.
Motehall Place and Walk have seen a major revamp with the cutting back of the overgrowth and fly tipped bushes opening up this space for those in the area to feel safe and enjoy the green space of Motehall again.
The flower bed improvements scattered across the Lower Manor have also helped to improve the aesthetic of the Lower Manor clearing them of the overgrowing vegetation and replacing them with easy on the eye wood chippings.
Next Year
Looking into the next year MKS will continue to be a warm and welcoming part of the community and continue their work with more big projects lined up aiming to improve the Lower Manor.
