Neighbourhood audit carried out in April 2024
What we have done since our last audit:
- Raised multiple jobs for clearances to remove fly tipping
- Tackled garden and tenancy issues
- Raised communal repair jobs and health and safety repairs
What we found:
- Fly tipping - Caenby Close, Fillingham Close, Richardson Rise, Brocklesby Close, Saracen Mews, Victoria Close
- Multiple untidy gardens
- Broken knee railing at Kexby Walk
- Maintenance at Pilham court
- The bin area at Riseholme Road flats is being used incorrectly
Pilham Court Stairwell What have we done?
- Jobs have been raised for the fly tipping in the area.
- Our asset team and Area Managers have visited Pilham court. A deep clean has been ordered.
- Contact has been made to the tenants with untidy gardens with a view to support them to clear it.
- The broken knee railing has been highlighted with a view to remove it.
- Clearance jobs have been raised to clear the bins at Riseholme road so that they can be used correctly going forward.
Rear of Adelaide/Saracen What are we doing going forwards?
- A consultation will be carried out with the tenants at Pilham Court to see what their views are on our plans to improve the block, and to ask for their input.
- Lily attended a local council meeting to make connections and plans to return in June to discuss fly tipping solutions.
