    Neighbourhood audit carried out in May 2024

    What we have done since our last audit:

    • Raised multiple jobs for clearances to remove fly tipping
    • Tackled garden and tenancy issues
    • Raised communal repair jobs and health and safety repairs

    What we found:

    • Flytipping - Dunstall walk
    • The courtyards at Middlefield lane, Heapham Road and South Parade/Dunstall are looking tired/untidy
    • Multiple untidy gardens
    • Contaminated communal bins at the Dunstall Walk/South Parade flats

    What have we done?

    • Jobs have been raised for the fly tipping in the area.
    • A skip will be ordered for Dunstall walk
    • Contact has been made to the tenants with untidy gardens with a view to support them to clear it.

    What are we doing going forwards?

    • All tenants at Dunstall walk and priory close will receive a letter drop about the fly tipping in the area and where they can dispose of their waste
    • A solution for the contaminated bins at Dunstall/South parade flats is being looked into
    • We are assessing the courtyards for the blocks in the area to arrange a sweep or tidy up
  • April 2024 audit - Park Springs

    What we have done since our last audit:

    • Raised multiple jobs for clearances to remove fly tipping
    • Tackled garden and tenancy issues
    • Raised communal repair jobs and health and safety repairs


    What we found:

    • Fly tipping - Caenby Close, Fillingham Close, Richardson Rise, Brocklesby Close, Saracen Mews, Victoria Close
    • Multiple untidy gardens
    • Broken knee railing at Kexby Walk
    • Maintenance at Pilham court
    • The bin area at Riseholme Road flats is being used incorrectly

    What have we done?

    • Jobs have been raised for the fly tipping in the area.
    • Our asset team and Area Managers have visited Pilham court. A deep clean has been ordered.
    • Contact has been made to the tenants with untidy gardens with a view to support them to clear it.
    • The broken knee railing has been highlighted with a view to remove it.
    • Clearance jobs have been raised to clear the bins at Riseholme road so that they can be used correctly going forward.

    What are we doing going forwards?

    • A consultation will be carried out with the tenants at Pilham Court to see what their views are on our plans to improve the block, and to ask for their input.
    • Lily attended a local council meeting to make connections and plans to return in June to discuss fly tipping solutions.
