Day Of Action

On Thursday 25 April a group of Acis colleagues joined forces with members of the community policing team for Lower Manor.

The aim of the day was to meet local residents in the area and get an insight into what matters to them. Community Police Officer Victoria Goddard Everatt joined us along with some of her colleagues and they talked to locals about Anti -Social behavior in the area and how we take a multi agency approach to tackling incidents of nuisance or crime.

Our very own Safer Communities Officer Wayne was also on hand to offer support and advice. Wayne has extensive knowledge in Anti Social Behavior and has successfully identified perpetrators, held them accountable for their actions and some cases have resulted in criminal charges being brought against them.

The local policing team are regularly in Lower Manor and can often be found in the entrance to Lidl on a Thursday morning, were they set up a stand for a couple of hours to support the community.

We also did a litter pick around the area. Within a couple of hours we collected 10 bags of litter. We intend to litter pick on a regular basis around Lower Manor over the next few months. We would love to see some residents join us and make it a real community event !! Look out for the date of the next litter pick in your area!
