Over the last two years our ED&I group has been raising awareness of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and implementing projects to progress ED&I across Acis.
To help us on our ED&I journey we’re now working towards the Housing Diversity Network’s Diversity Network Assessment. This will give us an action plan to build our strategy for the following years so that we can be sure we’re continuing to build an equitable, diverse and inclusive organisation.
What is the Diversity Network Assessment?
The assessment is an outcome-based framework that provides us with an independent assessment of how we as an organisation are engaging with equality, diversity and inclusion. It looks at what we’re doing internally and how our work impacts our customers and communities too.
Although this is a housing led assessment, we’re including our Education and Skills teams in CLIP, Riverside Training and Acis Students in the assessment too.
How you can get involved.
As part of the assessment process there are a series of focus groups.
This is where you, our customers, come in.
We need you to get involved in one of our focus groups, and share your understanding of how we’re doing on ED&I.
The session lasts a maximum of one hour and will be in Acis House on 22 August at 11.30am. Lunch will be provided after the session. To get involved please email yourvoice@acisgroup.co.uk.
If you can’t come to Acis House, but still want to be involved, you can complete a short survey below so that we can include your thoughts.
We can’t wait for you to be involved in the next step of our ED&I journey.
